Anna Mehlin

Anna Mehlin, born in 1994 in Düsseldorf, was a junior student with Professor Michael Gaiser and subsequently studied with Professor Friedemann Eichhorn in Weimar and Professor Antje Weithaas in Berlin. In addition, Anna Mehlin, winner of various competitions, attended several national and international master classes with Joshua Bell,Reinhard Goebel, Mauricio Fuks and Mihela Martin, among others.
In the past, solo engagements have taken her to the USA, Asia and Central America.
Scholarships from the “Ottilie-Selbach-Redslob-Stiftung”, “Stiftung Deutsche Musikleben”, Stiftung “Villa musica” support her artistic development.

After training at the “Karajan- Akademie der Berliner Philharmoniker”, taught by the principal Christian Stadelmann, she became a member of the Berliner Philharmoniker in 2017.
In addition to her orchestral activities, she is involved in chamber music.
She is a permanent member of the ensemble “Berliner Barock Solisten” and has worked with artists such as Radek Baborak, Roberto González- Monchas, Nils Mönkemeyer, Benjamin Appl and Reinhard Goebel, among others.
Anna Mehlin plays on a violin by Tommaso Balestrieri from 1776, a generous loan from a private collection.
